My Prius has a visual lean to the left. Measuring the wheel well height from the ground shows that the left rear well is 3/4 inches lower than the front two wells and the right rear is 1/2 inch lower than the front wells. Front wells are 25 3/4 inches above the ground. I took the car into my dealer and was told this listing was normal - they said they went to the lot and measured "3 or 4" other Priuses and they all had a list in the left rear. They said it could be because the road wasn't level under the car, that the tires were low in air. Shortly after I purchased the car I took it in to have the headlights adjusted. Recently cars have been flashing at me when I had the lights on low. At this last dealer visit I asked them to check the lights and they found that the right front light was aimed high (left rear sinking, right front light high - any connection?). I measured my car in my garage, which is level, at the dealership with the service representative - also level, and in several other places. I have 30K miles and am out of warranty in a few months of driving. I feel I'm being put off by the dealership. Questions: is it natural or normal for a Prius to sink in the rear end? I would ask readers to go and measure the wheel well heights on their car and reply to me whether or not their cars list to one side. Perhaps if I get enough replies that state other cars don't have this problem my dealership will realize there is a problem with my car.
