Did anyone read the article in Orange County weekly last week?

I had one come to the shop and was told that the car just drove on and would not stop. When I looked at the car it had HUGE floor mats that would not stay hooked and had slid forward. Interfering with the gas pedal.

My prius has never done this (stayed accelerating).
Has anyone else had this problem?
