Hi, Pete,

Did you do something to this site that has chg'd the size of the page being displayed on the screen both yesterday & today? On your home page I can't see the time of the latest post'g (the date is the last thing on the right hand side) unless I pull the bar (on the bottom of the screen) to the right & then I can balance the display to see both the complete time (& date) & the forum title. It's the same way when I go to select a topic from the forum page (I have to balance it again). Then when you go to view a post in that topic, I have to pull the bar all the way to the right to be able to read the post, but in that position I can't tell who the poster is.

Plus every time you chg a page you have to re-balance or re-center, or pull all the way to the right or left again. This is very annoying & inconvenient, to say the least. Are you aware of this & can it be chg'd back the way it used to be? By the way, I have done nothing to chg anything on my computer, so that's why I figured it must have come from your end. I even clicked on that little box between the "-" & the "x" in the upper right hand corner of the screen (you know, the one that enlarges or shrinks the screen) & that had no effect on my viewing problem. I did notice that if I'm logged in (which I only do if I'm going to post a question or answer), that the problem isn't quite as severe.

I spoke too soon! When I editted my post to add the previous sentence (still logged in , mind you), it did NOT get any better after the submission.

Thanks, Pete.

It looks like the google ads in the upper righthand corner is stretching the header, thus the entire page.

One ad is enough! One at the top AND one at the bottom?

We have been asked by Google to try out the additional ad format. I will be working in changing the layout of the top so it does not expand the width for those using a lower resolution display. I hope that the increased revenue from the additional ad will allow for monthly giveaways on this site of a prius related item.

Thanks very much, Pete, that fixed it for me. I too hope the google ad works out for you. You've got a great site here!! I only wish we could do something to keep down the obnoxious porn spam & the regular spam too.
